Special Ground Chakkar

A ground chakkar spins on a pin driven into the ground, throwing a ring of sparks outward as it rotates until the fuel runs out. The Special grade sits above the entry-level Small in fill quality. Its spark trail runs denser, so the spinning ring reads brighter and fuller through the burn, while still holding the apartment-safe, low-noise profile that makes the smaller chakkars a practical choice for compact spaces.

Within the wider chakkar range, this is the step most buyers take once they've decided the basic Small size feels thin. The Big and Deluxe grades throw a wider spark radius and spin longer than the Special, but both lose the apartment-safe rating that comes with the smaller sizes, meaning they need genuine open ground, not a balcony or courtyard. The Special is the size that keeps you inside apartment-safe territory while still stepping up the visual density from the entry-level chakkar. If your space is a compound, driveway, or terrace rather than an open ground, this is usually the highest grade in the family you can burst there.
