Sky Shot 120

The shot-count ladder in our sky-shots range runs from a single-tube shell that fires once, up through 12, 25, 30 and 60 shots at medium duration, to the 120 and 240-shot cakes at the top, both rated long duration. Sky Shot 120 sits at the large-format end: it's built for an extended, continuous run of overhead bursts rather than the shorter medium-duration sequence you'd get from a 30 or 60-shot cake. It's one step below the 240-shot cake, which is positioned for weddings and larger celebrations, 120 is the size for a substantial display without going all the way to that top tier.

Every cake in this range fires at night only, launches from a fixed tube on the ground, and needs the same handling: firm, level ground and a 15-metre-plus clear radius kept free of people, vehicles and anything flammable. That clearance requirement doesn't shrink for a smaller cake and it doesn't grow much for a bigger one, the extended duration is what actually changes as the shot count climbs.

Set the launch tube on firm, level ground first, then clear a 15-metre-plus radius around it before lighting. This is a long-duration cake, so that space needs to stay clear for the whole run, not just the first burst.

Burst on open ground, never a balcony or stairwell, and keep a bucket of water and a length of sand within reach. Light one item at a time with an agarbatti at arm's length, and never return to a cracker that failed to go off, douse it after a few minutes. Give children only hand-held sparklers, under an adult's eye, and keep loose synthetic clothing away from every flame.
