Musical Fountain

Most ground fountains, the flower-pot family especially, are silent once lit: you get a cone of orange-gold or tinted sparks and nothing else. A musical fountain adds an audible layer, a whistling or musical note that runs alongside the spark spray for as long as it burns. It sits in the fountains category rather than flower pots, and the composition is built specifically to produce that tone, not just colour.

Next to it in the same category are the flower pots, Small, Big, Special, Deluxe, Colour, Koti and Big Koti, which cover the size ladder from a brief low-key cone up to a tall, forceful spray on the bigger koti fills. None of them carry the whistle; that's the one trait unique to the musical fountain in this range. If you want the audible element, this is the pick; if you just want more spark volume, size up through the flower-pot ladder instead.

Place it on a stable, flat surface with clear space overhead, then step back once it's lit, the spark cone can still reach a metre or more even on a "low noise" item.

Use an incense stick at arm's length, one cracker at a time, and leave any dud alone, soak it rather than relight it.
