Lunik Rocket

Lunik Rocket is a classic tailed rocket. It whistles on ascent, same as a dedicated Whistling Rocket, but ends in a bright combined colour-and-sound burst rather than colour alone. That combination is what sets it apart from the rest of the rocket line: a Colour Rocket bursts into colour with no bang at all, a Sound Rocket climbs to a loud aerial bang with no colour, and a Whistling Rocket adds the ascent whistle but bursts into plain colour, not sound. Lunik carries the whistle and both terminal effects in one rocket, which is why it's stayed a long-standing catalogue name rather than a seasonal variant.

The rest of the Rockets range gives you narrower options if you want just one effect. Two-Sound Rocket fires twice from a single fuse, once on launch and once at burst altitude, and is the loudest pick here at high noise. Bullet Rocket is a fast, compact body that climbs steeply on a narrow bullet-shaped casing before its burst. Mini Rocket is the smaller-charge, shorter-flight option common in assorted family packs, and Sky Rocket with Tail leaves a visible spark trail through the ascent before its colour-and-light burst. Every one of them, Lunik included, launches from a fixed bottle or stand on open ground; the format doesn't change with the effect.

Lunik and every rocket on this page are night-only, adults-only aerial items that need a fixed launch stand and open clearance from buildings and trees. Choose an open patch away from buildings and parked vehicles, and lay out water and sand first. Light each item singly with an agarbatti, stand back, and never lean over a cracker; a misfire gets water, not a second match. Sparklers are the only thing a child should hold, and always with an adult beside them.
