Colour Rocket

Among stick rockets, the Colour Rocket is the one built specifically to end in a coloured spark shower at its peak rather than a report. It climbs on a launch charge, same as any rocket, but the terminal effect is light and colour instead of sound. That's the key difference from a Sound Rocket, which climbs and ends in a loud aerial bang with no colour burst at all, or a Two-Sound Rocket, engineered to fire twice from one fuse, once on launch and again at altitude.

The full Rockets range covers every variant below. Other rockets sit between those two ends. A Whistling Rocket adds a rising whistle through the ascent before it bursts into colour at the top. A Bullet Rocket is a faster, more compact body that climbs steeply before its burst. A Mini Rocket is a smaller-charge format with a shorter flight and a lighter burst, common in assorted family packs, while the Sky Rocket with Tail leaves a visible spark trail on the way up before its colour burst. All of them launch and land the same way, from a fixed bottle or stand on open ground, well clear of trees and buildings, because the format is aerial regardless of which terminal effect you pick.

Every rocket on this page is a night-only, adults-only aerial item; none are kids-safe or apartment-safe, so the launch site matters as much as the product you pick. Burst on open ground, never a balcony or stairwell, and keep a bucket of water and a length of sand within reach. Light one item at a time with an agarbatti at arm's length, and never return to a cracker that failed to go off, douse it after a few minutes. Give children only hand-held sparklers, under an adult's eye, and keep loose synthetic clothing away from every flame.
