Colour Fountain

A colour fountain is a flower-pot-style ground fountain built specifically for tinted output: the spark cone burns red, green or gold instead of the plain orange-gold most fountains throw. Mechanically it's identical to any other flower pot: a squat cone that stands on its own base, gets lit once, and sprays sparks upward in a steady cone until the fill runs out, with no bang and no projectile involved. The only difference from a standard pot is the colour chemistry in the fill.

It sits in the same family as the plain small and big flower pots, the mid-tier special and deluxe grades, and the named Asoka variant. Where those focus on cone height and density, a colour fountain's whole point is visual variety. Buyers picking a mixed flower-pot set often want at least one tinted pot alongside the standard orange ones so the ground display doesn't look uniform. It shares the short burn, low noise, and apartment-friendly rating that runs across the flower-pot range, though the heavier koti-grade pots in the same family step up in size and lose apartment-safe status.

Because it's still a lit ground item, the same handling applies regardless of the tint: light it on a flat, stable surface, keep clear of the emission cone once lit, and don't lean over it while it's burning.

Burst on open ground, never a balcony or stairwell, and keep a bucket of water and a length of sand within reach. Light one item at a time with an agarbatti at arm's length, and never return to a cracker that failed to go off, douse it after a few minutes.
