500 Shots

A 500 shot cracker is a cake firework at the large end of the format: hundreds of launch tubes bundled and wired into one unit, each holding an aerial shell, firing off in sequence from a single external fuse. You light it once and the display runs itself, through the full count before it's done, with no reloading or relighting. It's the same mechanic as a 12 or 25 shot cake, just scaled up a long way.

Within our sky-shots range, the confirmed largest named formats are the 240 Shot Sky Shot and the Repeating Shot Cracker, a general multi-tube format built for rapid repeat firing rather than a single burst. A 500-count cake sits above both: the kind of size bought for weddings, society-wide Diwali events, or any gathering large enough that a 60 or 120 shot cake would feel short. It needs the ground space to match: this isn't a product for a compact yard or a shared apartment complex.

The mechanics don't change with scale, and neither do the ground rules. The tube array needs firm, level ground, a properly respected clear radius around the whole unit, and an adult managing the lighting from a safe distance throughout.
