30 Shots

A 30 shot cracker is a cake firework: 30 tubes bundled into one unit, each holding an aerial shell, wired to fire off one after another from a single external fuse. You light it once and step back; the show runs itself through all 30 shots without any reloading or relighting. That's what separates it from a single-shot sky cracker, which gives you one burst and is over.

Thirty shots sits a step above a 25-tube cake and below a 60-tube one: enough shells to carry a proper Diwali evening's aerial segment without pushing into the display-centrepiece territory that a 120 or 240 shot cake occupies. If you want something handheld to run alongside it rather than more aerial noise, a long-format electric sparkler is the natural pairing: low noise, apartment-safe, and it gives kids something to hold while the adults handle the cake.

As with every item in this category, ground setup does the safety work. The launch tube needs firm, level ground under it and a genuine clear radius around it. This isn't a product you light near a wall, a parked vehicle, or a crowd standing close.

Burst on open ground, never a balcony or stairwell, and keep a bucket of water and a length of sand within reach. Light one item at a time with an agarbatti at arm's length, and never return to a cracker that failed to go off, douse it after a few minutes. Give children only hand-held sparklers, under an adult's eye, and keep loose synthetic clothing away from every flame.
