Wedding Reception Crackers

A reception is a single evening at a single venue, built around a run-of-show: entrance, speeches, cake-cutting, first dance, and then the send-off. Crackers slot into whichever of those moments the couple and the planner pick as the highlight, most often the exit or the cake-cutting, rather than running through the whole event the way a baraat's procession does. Because the crowd is seated and the venue is usually contracted for the night, the timing is tighter than a wedding's own, the pyrotechnics vendor, if there is one, coordinates with the DJ or emcee so the burst lands on cue rather than whenever the crowd feels like it. That coordination is the real difference from a baraat order: a baraat burst happens on the family's own clock as the procession moves; a reception burst happens on the venue's clock, timed to a specific cue in the schedule. Gift boxes handed out as guests leave are a smaller add-on many receptions include, separate from the finale stock, something the guest bursts later at home rather than at the venue itself.

Reception venues often run into the later evening, so it's worth checking the state's bursting-hour window against your actual event schedule rather than assuming a wedding date automatically clears it. Whatever the state adds, two nationwide orders come first.
