Sparkler vs Fountain

Sparklers win for young kids and tight balconies: handheld, low noise, apartment-safe across every size on the shelf. Fountains (flower pots) win when you want a ground-based visual moment with a bit more presence than a handheld stick, though the largest Deluxe size needs open outdoor space rather than a balcony.

A sparkler is built to be held. The 7cm size throws a fine white-gold shower for about 20-30 seconds and is sized for small hands, while the 10cm, 12cm, and 15cm sizes step up the burn time and spark plume without changing the basic handheld format: hold at arm's length, keep it clear of synthetic clothing, and supervise. That's why sparklers dominate small gatherings and balcony celebrations: nothing needs floor space, and the effect is contained to the stick itself.

A flower pot works from the ground instead. Light it on a flat surface and it throws a cone of sparks upward for a short burst rather than a sustained handheld glow. Small and big sizes scale the cone's height and density, and the Special and Deluxe tiers pack a richer spark composition for a fuller, taller effect. The trade-off for that bigger visual is exactly the ground placement: it needs a flat, stable surface and clearance from the emission cone, and the Deluxe size specifically steps outside apartment-safe territory because of how wide and tall its spray gets.

Noise-wise, both stay in the low band across every size, so neither disrupts a quiet residential evening. The real decision driver is placement and available space, not sound.
