Neither of these creates a separate, looser rule for daytime. The Supreme Court's window governs the Diwali bursting slot specifically; it doesn't grant a blanket allowance for the rest of the day, and the NGT ban applies regardless of hour in the regions it covers. If your assumption is "it's daytime, so the usual restrictions must be relaxed," that isn't supported by either order. Treat the timing and regional rules as applying at any hour, not just after dark, and don't read a daytime exemption into either ruling that neither actually states.
Etiquette the Law Doesn't Cover
Past what's legally mandated, there's a second layer that's just about not being the neighbour everyone complains about, and this is where the specifics of the lineup matter. All six products here are marked apartment_safe "no," which settles the placement question immediately: a balcony or building corridor is off the table at any hour, daytime included. Move to open ground before lighting anything, full stop.
Noise level is where daytime etiquette actually differs from a purely legal read. The Atom Bomb and Brick Bomb both sit at very-high noise, a single, sharp, ground-placed report with nothing else attached. The 56-count and 100-count bijili strips run high. The 28-count strip and the single bijili piece sit at medium. None of that changes what's legally permitted, but in a residential daytime setting, someone working from home, an infant napping, a shift worker asleep before a night job, picking medium over very-high is a courtesy call worth making even when nobody's enforcing it.
Duration matters too. Every product in this lineup is marked duration "short" individually, which means the real disturbance isn't any single bang. It's stacking several very-high-noise items back to back rather than pacing them out. A single Atom Bomb is over in a second. Three Atom Bombs and a Brick Bomb fired in quick succession is a different experience for anyone nearby, even though each one individually is still just a short, legal burst. Spacing out the loudest items, rather than treating "short duration" as licence to fire them in a continuous run, is the actual courtesy at stake here.
A Simple Rule of Thumb
Get the legal part right first: respect the Diwali bursting window where it applies, and don't burst at all in a region covered by the NGT ban. Within whatever's legally permitted, treat noise level and pacing as a daytime courtesy exactly as you would at night. Daylight doesn't change what a very-high-noise report does to someone's afternoon any more than it changes what it does to their evening, and neither order gives daytime any special leeway on that front.
